The Zenith Bank eToken App will change your banking game by efficiently producing One-Time Passwords to make your transactions even simpler and swifter.
The Zenith e-Token app generates one-time passwords (OTPs) to authenticate electronic transactions securely.It serves as a convenient and secure alternative to a hardware token.
There is a One-time charge of N2,500 subsequently free for reissue.
Search for Zenith eToken App on play store or the app store and download the eToken App.
eToken is also available for both Individuals and Corporate Customers.
Why Use eToken
The Zenith Bank e-Token can be used for the following purposes:
· Customer Registration: Used for registration on the Mobile App and WhatsApp Banking (ZiVA.)
· Login Authentication: Enables secure login on Internet Banking and Corporate Internet Banking platforms
· Transaction Authorization: Used to authorize transactions on Mobile App, USSD, Internet Banking and Corporate Internet Banking.
· Transaction Limits: To increase transaction limits on the Mobile App and Internet Banking.
Download the ZenithBankToken App from your Application store (Google Play Store or IOS Store) and use either of the four available registration options:
1. Hardware Token Method
· For existing users who already have a hardware token.
· Registration requires the hardware token and a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the registered phone number or email address.
2. Image Verification Method
· End to End Self Onboarding for New and existing users.
· The Process requires Account Number, Date of Birth, and Biometrics Verification (Facial)
3. OTP Request Method
· Requires Account Number, and Date of Birth,
· Once validated an OTP (One-Time Password) is sent to your registered phone number and Email Address to continue the process.
· The request is routed to your domiciled branch (the branch where your account was opened).
· The branch will contact you to reconfirm your request before proceeding.
· Once reconfirmation is done, activation details will be sent to your registered email.
· Input the activation details using the Quick Access tab to complete the process.
· Processing time: Within 24 Working hours.
4. Branch Request
· Visit any Zenith Bank branch to fill out the e-Token request form.
· The branch will process your request
· Complete the process by inputting the details sent to you on the Quick Access tab.
· Corporate customers are required to submit a request for e-Token activation through their Relationship Manager or any Bank Branch.
· It is available for both Sole and Multiple Account Signatories on a Corporate account
· The only available registration method for corporate account users is Quick Access. Corporate users will not be able to register using a Hardware Token, OTP, or Image Verification.
1. Launch the Zenith Bank Token App
2. Select New Token (First Time Users) or Reactivate (For Existing Users with a new device)
3. Choose Customer Type – Individual or Corporate.
4. Tap on Quick Access as your registration method.
5. Enter the Serial Number, Activation Code/Re-Activation Code and User ID received from the bank via email or SMS, then tap Continue.
6. Create a 4-digit PIN and select Continue to complete registration.
7. Tap Generate OTP to start using your e-Token.
