Pay with transfer (Managed Virtual Account Service)– Pay with transfer is a unique service that makes use of a virtual account number whenever a customer pays for goods or services.

How it works

• A virtual account is generated at checkout.
• Customer makes payment to the account number displayed via his/her preferred mode of transfer.
• The Gateway generates a receipt if transaction is successful.

 Pay with USSD - This option will enable any bank account holder make payment by simply dialing a USSD string or code displayed on the checkout page, using the mobile phone number registered with his/her respective bank.

 How it works:

1. Select Pay with USSD upon checkout.
2. USSD string displays.
3. Customer dials USSD string and code displayed.
4. Customer confirms payment with his/her USSD PIN.
5. Customer is debited and “Payment successful” is displayed on the website.

 Pay with Bank Account (eMandate) - This option enables Zenith Bank account holders make payments directly from their bank account, by simply inputting their bank details and OTP on the checkout page. Afterwards, the account is debited instantly provided there are sufficient funds.

How it works:

1. Select Pay with Bank upon checkout.
2. Customer enters his/her account number and OTP and clicks pay.
3. Customer is debited and “Payment successful” is displayed on the website.

Pay with QR – This is an option that makes use of a Quick Response code to capture transaction details and enable users make payment.  

 How it works:  

• Select Pay with QR upon checkout.
• A QR code is displayed and customer scans the code using the QR payment option on his/her mobile banking application.

Transaction is consummated and the payment gateway generates receipt if transaction is successful

Merchants with/without websites can also enjoy this service by simply generating payment links on their dashboard which can be shared with customers electronically via their social media platforms, email, SMS etc.

Whichever approach is adopted, you will be able to receive payments from customers using Card (locally and internationally issued), Bank, USSD and Transfer. These transactions can be monitored in real-time on the merchants’ dashboard.

The integrated payment gateway accepts MasterCard, Visa and Verve cards.

MERCHANT

1. Merchant signs up for Globalpay via globalpay.ng and completes the self-onboarding process.
2. API documentation will be shared with the merchant as part of the integration process.
3. Following completion of integration and successful testing of the payment engine, Merchants’ account is activated within a couple of hours and payments from customers can commence.
4. Merchants can monitor transactions in real-time via their dashboard.

CARDHOLDER

1. Customer visits Merchants’ website and adds desired items to the shopping cart.
2. Customer selects any of the payment options (Card, Bank, USSD, Transfer, QR) upon checkout.
3. Shopping cart links to payment interface for the selected payment option.
4. Customer securely inputs payment information.
5. Once payment is successful, an online receipt is displayed on-screen and can be printed by the Customer.
